法式爵士

   在先天多元化的爵士乐世界里，法式爵士给我们带来了惊喜。在本期的《不完全爵士》中，来自加拿大的Athésia和来自于瑞士的Nour Azzam将为我们呈现不一样的爵士音乐。Athésia和Nour Azzam是两个年轻、极富天赋的法语爵士歌手，她们都是在很小的时候就开始了音乐之旅，在经过了漫长的探寻之后选择了爵士乐发展。
      2004年，Athésia发表了她的专辑 Nostalgia，音乐灵感来自葡萄牙民谣、阿根廷探戈、巴西桑巴舞曲、美国酷派爵士bosso nova，并与电子乐相配合。Athésia的这张专辑和她在巴西的表演都受到了极大的好评。能说英语、法语、克利奥尔语和葡萄牙语的Athésia正在把她的音乐推广到世界的不同角落。
      Nour Azzam11岁的时候就在日内瓦举行了个人的首场音乐会，四年之后，她成立了一支流行摇滚乐团“Blue Waves”。18岁的时候，Nour Azzam回到故乡开始在一些酒吧和咖啡馆里表演标准爵士曲与法语歌曲。21岁时发表的首张专辑“Les p’tites hommes”包含了不插电器乐的演奏，以及modern sounds。音乐灵感来源于gipsy，jazz，tango，bossa 以及法国musette音乐。目前她正在筹备她的第二张专辑。
     不久前Athésia和Nour来到上海，和观众近距离接触。《不完全爵士》专门采访了她们。本期节目除播出两位歌手的表演及访谈外，还将介绍法式爵士乐的渊源及代表人物。观众有机会欣赏到吉普赛吉他大师Django Reidhart上世纪30年代的表演。

Jazz, French Style 

    In the diversified world of jazz, French jazz brings us something fascinating. In this edition of  More than Jazz, Athésia and Nour Azzam will present us songs of different styles. They are both talented young jazz singers who began their music adventures at an early age and finally settled down in jazz.

    In 2004, Athésia came out with the EP Nostalgia, inspired by fado, tango, and bossa nova with a touch of electronic music in the mix. The "Nostalgia" album and her concerts in Brazil were welcomed greatly. Speaking French, English, Creole and Portuguese, Athésia is what you could consider "Une citoyenne du Monde", a true citizen of the world.

    At the age of 11, Nour Azzam gave her first concert in Geneva and four years later, she founded the pop-rock group "Blue Waves". When she was 18, she went back to Geneva to perform standard jazz and French songs in bistros and cafés. At the age of 21, she published her first album "Les p'tites hommes", a subtle mix of acoustic instruments and modern sounds inspired by gypsy, jazz, tango, bossa or musette. At present, she is producing her second album called "Arc-En-Ciel".

    Viewers will see the refreshing remarkable performances by Athesia and Nour, as well as  exclusive interviews. They'll also get a glimpse into the history of French Jazz and see rare footage that will include gypsy guitarist Django Reinhart playing with the legendary Quintette du Hot Club de France.
